I've visited the club at their Aug. 23/23 Wednesday's "open doors" event. I must stress - it was my first time - in my life - in this or any similar establishments. Yeah, it may sound weird, but that's life. The check-in desk (Arnold) was very friendly while patiently explaining in details all "how-tos" I've been asking while I asked a lot of them. He also conducted a tour around the club. I liked what I saw. The bartender lady (my bad - I forgot her name) was also very friendly and attentive to everybody sitting around. In general the atmosphere and the spirit of the club made me feel very welcomed. I'll be frequent visitor either alone or with my wife (working on it).

We call this club the NEW DEFY club. It is nothing like Defy around Covid time. It is much MUCH better! Better crowd, BETTER music, BETTER owners, BETTER management, and of course much better members! We are one of the old members of this club back when it was Club HEDO, when Franco was the big boss. We started going to this club since the early 90's. This club has always been by far the #1 lifestyle club for us. We think it's the BEST one around. The club is beautiful, clean, organized well, fun members, very respectful people, beautiful club members, the bosses/owners and staff are amazing and they take good care of their guests, music/dj is on point with the genre of music, and plays what the crowd wants to hear. This club is so laid back and everyone inside makes you feel so comfortable. No judgment at all from anyone that attends this club. Membership is reasonable compared to other clubs around. We are locals and go every chance we can get. We so much HIGHLY recommend this wonderful club!! WE LOVE IT SO MUCH!

We went to Defy for the very first time this past weekend and had a great experience... so much so we went again last night! We met one of the owners who walked us around and showed us the various rooms at the club. The music was great and we met some very cool people. I highly recommend you visit the club if you're looking for fun!

An amazing night from start to finish. This place is a gem. Intimate yet wildly energetic with a crowd that loves to connect and have good times. Everything from the bartenders to the DJ made this place magical. Great event, clean spaces and owners could not have been nicer ??. I travel to the area often and now know my new place to stop in.

It’s a great club but it’s just Hedo. Once again another take on our old hometown favorite. I don’t know why they bother to change the name it’s still just Hedo. Another redo on the interior but we get those every few years, right! Reduction in stars is given for the ridiculous price. I don’t know how they think they can price themselves this high and not price themselves right out of the market. I Will not get a membership myself for this reason only. For a local dive it should be slightly cheaper than the other competition which draws so much more from all over the country.

it was a great party with all the couples. have to excuse the newbies for not having all the lifestyle lingo and being completely inept at starting a conversation. lots of beautiful people there, we thank Defy, and specifically Dalton and Samanthafrom Arouse for getting us to places that are jumping.

We went to the club last Friday. Very few people that night. Nice stripper show . Bartenders and wait staff are super nice. After few drinks, Girlfriend wanted to dance on the pole, we asked the DJ ( Anglo guy with glasses) for some special dance pole music, DJ was very rude and unprofessional. Very disappointed that he couldn't find a single song for my girl. He gave us a lot of non sense stupid excuses. The DJ sucks.

Visited Defy for 1st time on a Friday night. PROS: Club is awesome! Sexy, new, clean, modern, looks like a “real” club, not just a swingers club. Clientele was young (but not too young), classy, fit, good looking and upscale. The back room looked great…super clean and inviting. The shower is fantastic. Like you WANT to start your night off in there. Really well designed. Music is really good too. CONS: club is very small, which might not necessarily be terrible in some ways. But the dance floor is very tiny, and there’s no food at all. Also, even though the back room is beautiful and has amazing potential, people seemed more interested in mainly going into private rooms. There just wasn’t a lot going on in the back out in the open, which was disappointing. So overall, even though Trapeze is older, .grungier, and has a much less attractive clientele, and a less high-class clientele, they are more fun and you get more bang for your buck. Suggestions for Defy… Make this an upscale alternative to Trapeze. Turn the back room mainly into private rooms. (There’s never enough even at Trapeze) Also, put out a few nice Hors D’oeuvres, cheese and crackers, fruit, and cookies and cake slices. Won’t take up much room. I think those 2 things would go a long way. You can’t really fully compete with Trapeze. Go a slightly different way. You have huge potential.

Visited Ft Lauderdale few weeks ago and decided to see DEFY. OMG we have had great time and met lots of sexy ppl. We love club a lot and the owners always make sure you are having food time. It was our first but not our last visit . Can`t wait to go back.

We’ve been fortunate to visit swing clubs across the country and Defy is hands down our favorite club. We just visited for the first time last night and were beyond impressed with the club and staff. It is spotless, very very clean and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. There is more of an intimate house party vibe and it works 100%. Give it a try, it’s not a huge club but our favorite hands down .

I'm happy to hear this space has been revived. It used to be sad and a little creepy. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see it. We were invited by another couple for a party event based on our SDC profile. The female half of us is a transwoman. When I called ahead to verify that we would be admitted on a Saturday night, I was told that for Saturday night purposes, "a couple is a man and a woman." This is the first time in two years of going out to restaurants, bars, strip clubs, theatres, places with bathrooms, and entertainment venues where we've been denied admission. We were very disappointed at many levels. We went to a competing club that night and were admitted with no problem and no questions asked.

To echo my comments again Thank you to Tommy and Michelle and Defy for providing an intimate venue where we in the lifestyle can be ourselves and let our high sex drive take over... lol The club checks all the boxes when looking for an adult playground that embodies the 4 S”s ... style, sound, sexy, and spotless. The soft opening/preview of the new Club Defy was amazing. We expressed the owners we felt like we were on a European club, where the ambiance, the music, imagery is absolutely of a high class club that really appeal to your senses and sets your mood to enjoy the night. The personnel is very attentive and courteous, making sure to take care of you all the time, always with a smile. The decoration is very contemporary done with great taste and elegance. A very important note about the music is that it is what you expect to find at real lifestyle club. We recommend Club Defy 100% for those who want to enjoy lifestyle the way it is meant to be.

Recently went back to Hedo and I heard friends tell me that new management took over. I had to check it out and give it a try and boy was I impressed. The vibe and total environment was just chill and laid back like a cigar bar. Liked the staff the girls at the bar and of course Anthony! What top shelf treatment I received. The crowd was classy and nice. I look forward to go back and unwind and maybe have a little fun. Thanks for a great night! 5 star date to be exact!

SUPER HOT TIME last night at the SDC event at Club Hedonism in Ft. Lauderdale. New to the scene this was our second time at the club (Friday was the first, lol) and our first event. Anthony made us feel totally welcome and at ease the minute we walked in. Everyone we met was super friendly and the vibe really cool. Sasha and Kristina ran the bar like a well oiled machine and our cups were never empty. The club is really clean and well kept. VERY IMPORTANT- The bathrooms were spotless with plenty of paper towels, wipes hand sanitizer etc. The play areas are real sexy and clean as well and getting to experience one on day two was AWESOME! Overall just a great experience with so many hot and sexy people. Can’t wait for the next visit

I've been a member here, on and off as a single male, and now, as part of a couple. In all those years/visits, the old manager never even once acknowledged me/us. Grumpy all the time, and treated the staff like slaves. The back play areas were always a little claustrophobic, almost creepy. THAT'S ALL CHANGED!!! The new manager, Anthony, made a point of introducing himself and his lovely, sweet wife, Glenda to us. He spoke with us at length, actively soliciting feedback and comments, and went out of his way to cater to our wants & needs. He even moved the sybian to a private room for us, and then he and Glenda happily accepted our invitation to watch as Laura rode it! Anthony even brought out some of the mini-eclairs that I love, just for me! Spectacular hosts! As to the renovations - the entry area is much more open to the bar/dancefloor. The play areas are more open and accessible; there is a new sex chair, and a gloryhole setup... COOL! The locker area has been expanded and is free, with locks and towels provided. The Sybian has been repaired, and now has a full selection of "attachments". The staff is, without exception, very sexy and friendly, and were ALL much happier than under the old regime. Short version: EVERYTHING is vastly impoved here. If you've tried this club in the past and didn't like it, give it another shot; you'll be glad you did. Tony & Laura

This was our first time at Club Hedo and had a wonderfully Hedonistic experience! The D.J. takes requests and the dance floor was packed! Loved the Sybian, the playrooms and the wife REALLY liked the Glory Hole room. Most importantly , This Club is very very clean a 5 star experience!

at 7 PM on Saturday night May 18th there were 69 couples on the SDC guest list and when we got there about 8:30 PM they only one bartender on duty. they said the other bartender didn't show up, You would think for that many people , they would have at least 3 bartenders on duty. it seems like everytime we go there , they have a new bartender , hhmm,,,,

Last Sat we were there too. We are long time members and agree with the previous reviewer. We had to wait way to long for drinks and many others also received poor service. Hopefully she doesnt work Anniversary weekend

New Bartender was horrible. She never smiled. Several times we told her how to mix our drinks and she completely disregarded our requests. The drinks were not even tolerable. We were afraid to ask her to chill a bottle so we waited for Felix to come in becauae he always takes care of the guests. Sure hope she either isn't there for the anniversary party or has a serious attitude adjustment. Several other long time members also feel the same and have experienced her lack of personality.

Drove all the way from west palm after being told over the phone that we would get free membership tonight if we arrive before 10pm. Got here and that was not the case. Poorly ran as they rather loose customers then honor their word. Don't waste your time.

Visited Club Hedo with my wife during Valentine’s weekend, on Saturday. It was simply great! Nice atmosphere, amazingly friendly people, clean, good food. Very relaxed, no pressure from anyone, no rush at all. Right at the door the staff was very polite and attentive, gave us tour and put all efforts in making us feel comfortable and welcome. We dance and party and had a great time. This was our first time in a lifestyle club and it was amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had been to this club before and had ok times and never felt at risk. Last night simply didn't go as expected. As always the place stinks like a dirty ashtray and you will undoubtedly smell like a cigarette upon entering. By midnight, the place was filled with single horny men, who simply wanted to watch and jerk off to the few couples that were trying to have a good time. It made both myself and my wife, as well as another couple that we know well, very uncomfortable and ultimately we had to leave. Upon leaving we mentioned to the attendants at the front door how uncomfortable we were, and instead of considering our legitimate issue, our membership card was summarily taken from us. This is not a high end, or even medium comfort club, and anyone who goes to this place should be prepared for what to expect. There's a reason most reputable clubs reduce the numbers of single men that come through the door, and last night was an example of what happens when a club that holds itself out as a place for couples allows the ratio of men to women to climb to 10 to 1.

We went for the first time this last Saturday, with limited experience in the lifestyle. The staff were extremely friendly, and constantly checked in to make sure we were having a good time. The other guests there were happy, normal, and all having a good time. We had a great time, both inside the play room and out, and would happily return.

We had not attended this club in the last 8 years. We saw more participation and some fun events and decided to give it another try. The new non-smoking policy also got our attention. We had a really nice evening and met some quality couples. We will now be back again.

Last night at CH. Picked CH to be our first after much research because it is smaller and also because of the "it is OK to go anywhere in the club without undressing" rule. Amber greeted us VERY warmly - she is hot, so that helped Jack adjust quickly - and she made us feel right at home immediately. Later she did a great job as front bartender. Calvin in the back bar also made us feel welcome and comfortable - and most importantly he was very protective of the Mrs during the brief and one and only unpleasant moment when the one and only creepy guy there was a bit aggressive; naturally this happened during the one time Jack stepped away for a moment. Lighting is perfect, neither too dim nor too bright, decor is appropriate, chairs and couches comfortable. There were a lot of single guys on Friday, but that is exactly what the Mrs wanted. A lot of them were black, also exactly what she wanted. All but one (mentioned above, he is not black) were very respectful an appropriate in their behavior. Mainly we just watched and she flirted. No action for us, our choice, for our first time. All the couples there we very friendly. Out biggest shock was how quickly the time shot by. When we arrived at 9pm we were the only ones there, which was fine because we could watch people filter in. We said to each other "Why is this place open until 4am, who stays up that late?" Next thing we knew it was 3am and we were finally tired enough to leave. We had fun! Only complaint is that people still allowed to smoke in the back bar but we have been in far smokier places and Calvin the Prince more than made up for the smoke.

We have been back to this club 3 or 4 times since we first tried it several months ago. The place seems great to us. People are very respectful and music is good. Rooms are usually clean, with a few toys and a sex swing in the back (which is highly recommended by the wife). My only complaint is that there is usually 1 bartender, which makes ordering a drink a bit of an ordeal. That small complaint aside, we will be visiting again next weekend and hope to have an equally good time!

Friday night there was a nice crowd ,lots of sexy couples and enough singles for some extra attention for the mrs.i have no clue what the previous reviewer states about how slow and that noone was playing,maybe because he visited on christmas eve,,lots of people in the back when we were there!!

We been going to Club Hedonism for 6 years and we can say.. Consistency is the word.Always Good,danceable music from the 80's-90s and today.They care about their members and if on any given night a bad apple is bothering someone,they are warned and the bouncer takes note.Why would anyone want to put up with an A-Hole when members should be entiled to a fun filled exotic night ,where no always means no ,and a yes is an erotic adventure.The club makes sure everyone has a enjoyable evening.We love the music ,the food and the people that party at the club with us are considerate as well as Totally sexy.

I saw the review from 7/26 and have to wonder if this is from someone that was kicked out or something. I go to hedo often and have always thought the people are very nice. I have never had a problem with the management (I haven't seen the manager/owner? at the club in awhile.) Check it out and you'll be convinced this is a great club. We've been going to Club Hedo for some time now and absolutely LOVE the Club! The "A" team as they call themselves along with Mr. Felix are the best! The staff completes the experience. The "manager" hasn't been seen "inside" the Club in ages he apparently lets the staff handle all of the members questions and needs and that is perfect! Whomever posted that last review must be pissed because they were asked to leave or were not allowed in.

Went to Club Hedonism for the FIRST time Saturday, 7/9 and had so much fun! The strawberries and whip cream were so sexy and delicious! The staff is so friendly and the place is super clean! I LOVE that I don't have to wear an UGLY white towel to go play and I don't have to get dresses to go out in the "night club" are! I will definietly go back to Club Hedonism. It is a true LIFESTYLE club not just a sex club.

We just got back from our 10 minute visit to the front desk of this place. The owner/manager was so mean and hateful - the wife said "scary" - that he couldn't attract a crowd if the door charge was $0! Hopefully, this place will close soon and someone else can take over the lease. Any place, any where is better than this. My rating is "1" because they don't offer "0".

Agree with some of the earlier posts that the food leaves a lot to be desired and it seems like most people just sit and talk, not enough action going on. You can do that for free at any bar.

Got to say we were very disappointed. The club is a nice club and the back area is a fun place to play. The problem is that you can go into the back and stay clothed. This is a huge mistake for a club. And then you get the gawkers and talkers. Who needs those assholes! My advice: Skip this place. There are better places in S. Florida to party at.

We went to Club Hedo in March for their St. Patrick's day party and had an excellent time playing hide the shamrock. The people are friendly and sexy people and the club is very comfortable. The staff makes you feel at home. We look forward to the whipped cream jello shots when we return in July. We would have liked to have seen more "unicorns", but, hey, who wouldn't? Saturday is the best night to go.

We checked out the club Saturday for the red party and it was a little slow, but we still had a great time. It was very clean and we met a really nice couple. We partied til closing time and we will go back again.

Wento HEDO last night, about 8 couples there at midnight. No one really wanted to do anything just hang out. Been going to HEDO for about 10 years on and off and the last 2 times the club was slow and not like here was no staff, the bartender was the door guy, food was lousy as always. Good music was about the only thing going for it last night. A total waste of time and money.

The club combines the look and options of a lifestyle club with the feel of your local neighborhood hideout. Its very discreetly located and plenty of free parking. Can't wait to go back.

Other than the SDC parties which is a complete facade of what is going on. The place is going downhill quite quick. Also, the buffet is less than desireable. Appetizers compared to MV and the BIG "T". No showers and the DJ sucks. The contests are fixed and we decided to get a clue and spend our money more wiser somewhere else. Good riddens CLUB HEDO, you officially "SUCK NOW!"----by your own choices....

Outstanding Swingers Club with a great staff! We like to define Club Hedo as a local club with benefits. Not sleezy like some of the other clubs and one of the cleanest clubs you will ever visit. If you like to meet new people and be able to have a converstaion without yelling over the music, this is the place for you!

I've tried ALL of the couples clubs in South Florida and I've found Club Hedonism to be the best out of all of them. Everyone there is so friendly and nice, the bartenders and staff are great, and the place is really beautiful and clean. I love it!!

Have been there a number of times. There is very little if any swinging. It is mostly a dance club. The wannabes just look and do nothing

Took the wife to a swinger club for the 1st time.We both had a wonderful night.The club is no pressure and very clean.Being our first time we just danced ,chatted with other couples and ventured a bit into the back lounge area. We plan on being back to the club again and a again.Even if you don't have sex at the club ,next time we hope to take the upturn,what a great aphrodisiac it is for when we get back home!

We love the look ,the atmosphere and especially all the sexy people.Most important is how clean the club is,you could eat off the floor!The front of the club is where the main bar and dance floor are ,it's like a regular upscale nigthclub with a girls gone wild twist;),when you walk into the back of the club the music is much lower and couples are able to talk and get to know each other.The lounge and playrooms seem to be in a fantasy setting,everything is at your own comfort level.Just look or join in the fun! Dress or undress and anything in between.

We fell in love with Club Hedonism 9 years ago and we love it even more with every visit. You just can't compare any other lifestyle clubs to this. Besides friendly and sexy people, it is a European Style club which means no forced nudity and towel wearing. In Club Hedonism you can feel free to go into the back rooms or the front of the club as naked or dressed as you choose, and they have the most playrooms of any club, and the cleanest!, and we could go on and on forever, but you should really check it out 'cause you'll fall in love with it too :)

No other club can come close to the fun, friendly, sexy atmosphere at club hedonism. They can build bigger clubs with huge cavernous discos but they'll never re-create this place. It really is like they say, "The ultimate swinger's playground". All our closest friends that we've met thru the lifestyle, we've met at club hedonism. And after sampling the other clubs we can also say this is the cleanest and most hygienic club there is. We rate it a 10+.

We've tried out nearly all of the other lifestyle clubs in south florida and we hace to say that Club Hedonism is absolutely the best of them all! Cleanest, friendliest, most fun place you could ever wanna play in!

Without a doubt the club is Emaculate.A very comfortable at your own pace approach to the lifestyle.There is interaction between the staff and it sort of reminds us of Cheers on t.v.

"Hedo" is a private Members Only lifestyle club for select single men, single women and couples who share a passion for open-minded sensuality & fun. Members are friendly and respectful, from their 20's to 50's & up... When we moved to the Palm Beach County are we wanted to find a club to go to that was close. We settled for Club Hedonism but once we went we realized we were not settling at all. This club is clean and by far one of the friendliest, fun environments we have been in. It is accomodating the members and staff always make you feel welcome.
