I've been to Trapeze 3 times. Each time has been an incredible experience.

Had a great time on friday night.. guess more than 30 couples would have attended.. excellent service by staffs, and Lot of erotic Fun!

2022 one night I was at the beach and a couple wanted to go out they said let's go to trap I'm like what is that? They laughed To my surprise it was the best experience of my life I've met hundreds of Ls members from all over every play form I would extremely recommend you to go there one time a bucket list in this world of our the whole team there is amazing the Djs the rooms oh and last but not all shot out to the cook to top things off thanks trap

Went on a Sat. There was a convention locally so, maybe more people than usual?? Very lively, everyone was great. Play areas had plenty of action. Two suggestions.... didn't see (maybe we missed it) condoms available in play area. Wish they had bathrobes as options.

The best swingers club

We were visiting form NJ, first time at trapeze, we went twice, this place is top of the line, nothing compares to the way this club is set up, operates. Just all the amenities, the employees. Everything from the moment we pull up, til the doors closed. The couples, omg! Everyone is so attractive and friendly. We had an unbelievable experience. We were the last ones to leave. Security could have easily been upset that we were last, but they were friendly and professional all the way out. Why am experience. If you’re in town definitely try this place. There is no the place like it.

I like Trapeze, the music is good, the food is delicious and every who work there have excellent customer service.

The last two times we went the single males have been out of control. They crossover to the couples area and we have watched them repeatedly touch women without asking. They stand over couples and it’s creepy as hell. Several guys were pissed last night. In the future, we will only attend on Saturday nights or stop going at all. Management needs to get a handle on this

I took a new sexy young lady to the club last night and she said” the people greeting at Front door was on point. The atmosphere in the front at the bars and dance floor was fabulous,,but when it came to the back. she stated it was horrible. Not enough people monitoring the single guys coming over to the couple section. Also, when using the rooms a lock door means there’s someone in there and not for a person to keep just beating on the door like they’re crazy because you don’t let them in.

Is Pitbull a major investor in Trapeze. 7 Pitbull songs in a span of 25 minutes. We already know the order. Pitbull, Shakira, Pitbull, Mark Anthony, Pitbull, Erinque Iglesias, Pitbull, bugs bunny. We love the place, but if latin wife is tired of going because of the awful music, then you know how works.

Always look forward to seeing the club when we are in Ft. Lauderdale. The fun ranks well above Gulfstream even if we are winning. The class of the club is unparalleled and we always find so new and fun people to hang with. Can not wait till our next trip.

Surprised. Women are no longer allowed to wear high hells in the playroom.Losing 3 inches of heels for a woman is not only annoying but takes away the sexy side. Camping party? The atmosphere in the playroom has deteriorated and prevent us from returning.

First time here, wont be the last. Great venue, its BYOB so the drinks are great but the host staff very polite and professional. Great ambiance, not pushy people, large crowd, everyone having fun...and if you cant find someone to hookup with, your the problem (lol). Great value as well. Go visit and become a member.

Trapeze Wed. night was unbelievable! The best best ever DJ, Drums and loved loved the giant dancer on the floor with us (all lit up) the dance boxes were hot and sexy! Way to go. We will be back.

I had to pleasure to be the escort of NADIASTREASURE and the night could not have been more fun and sexy. The DJ was just my style, a bit of Bad Bunny style latin flavor with a bit of hip hop edm (not sure that is a thing but that's what I call it). The staff of Trapeze were great and super sexy as always and even though the bars were overflowing with a line the bartenders were on point. The play room was filled with sexy people and the lust was only outdone by respectful boundries, a good thing. We played alongside a sexy couple and we had a fantastic time. Wish it was a Saturday night at Trapeze EVERY night.

This more than a review, its constructive criticism. The location is great, we love the people, staff super friendly and great! Now on the other hand they need to get a better DJ on fridays. On Saturday the DJ is great, but the one on Friday specifically 9/16. Wow, the worse. He almost played music from a playlist, really negative about playing Latin music when in fact, most of the time that the dance floor got busy was when a Latin song was played and new hits were playing. Never looked at the dance floor to realize that. Again get better Djs at least on Fridays then Saturdays (Saturday 8-27 was excellent). By the way most of the people were talking how bad he was...

I often tell people that every Saturday night at Trapeze is like New Year’s Eve. The crowd is alive, they are fun, they are sexy and they are happy. There’s music, dancing, eating, drinking, sex and breakfast. If that isn’t fun, I am not sure what is! Trapeze is known for their theme nights and have incorporated a steel drummer into the mix for International Night on Wednesdays. Not only is the drummer great at playing the drums, but he is hot to look at. The vibe is electric with many people taking to the dance floor to join in the fun. This particular hump night was more memorable than most. As the night was heating up with the crowd, two beautiful twin like dancers made their way to the dance floor. As they mingled with the guests on the dance floor a stilted robotic dancer with flashing neon lights appeared on the scene. As he made his way through the crowd to the dance floor, all eyes were on him. Before long, the dance floor was packed as the crowd danced with the dancers and then began a train which ended with a limbo under the stilted dancers legs. All the while the music and drums kept the beat and the dance floor was sprayed with blasts of cold air and confetti. The atmosphere was electric and euphoric. The crowd was connected and people were dancing throughout the entire club. This lasted for over an hour or two (hard to remember, it was so much fun). This is one of the reasons Trapeze remains among the best swing clubs in the world. Every night is special, every night is different but every night is fun!

Last night I came here with friends, it was maybe 4 couples in total there at 11pm. It was pretty empty, the buffet already didn’t have any food except snacks, the music was better than the normal 70-90 the DJ's play. But, it was not up to its game. This place has gotten no upgrades. It needs to keep up with its competitors. All you get generations are going elsewhere due to this place not being more modern. The bar tender last night was very rude all the way in the corner next to the bathrooms of the girls. There was no buffet that we saw, and no breakfast. They turned on the lights at 2:50 am! Very wrong. We pay to stay at least until 3:30 but they turned on lights very early yesterday. And again now I’ll have to think three times before going. Very dissatisfied, I brought my friends who was their first time, and I don’t think I’ll bring more friends here, it was a big disappointment.

Last Friday night, 11/5/2021, I took a first date to Trapeze and it was one of the best clubs I have been to!! It was my first time there and it did not disappoint! Look forward to going back!

We are a bit spoiled living in the greater Houston, TX area we have 6 LS clubs to choose from! Now we love The Pendulum Club North but, our number one is Trapeze Fort Lauderdale! We visit Fort Lauderdale every couple months just to go to Trapeze. Great music, amazing staff, food is excellent can’t wait to get back!

Last night was my first time in Trap. To make a long story short and sweet. It won't be my last time. I will leave it at that. The staff is amazing! To the point, where I tipped the lady who I saw constantly cleaning and to the big guy with dreads that went above and beyond to get me a towel. I had to tip him as well. Need I say more? That's how awesome this place is. 5/5 stars....

The club, decor, music and set up is amazing. Easily one of the best lifestyle clubs we have visited on either coast. The only reason we will be limiting our time and avoiding any night single males can come is because there simply is not enough security to cover the areas single men are not supposed to be. The staff/security literally run all night ensuring everybody is having a good time but they can’t be everywhere at all times. Single men constantly sneak into couples only areas and creep on women until they are caught. I’ve personally witnessed them trying to buy the couples wristbands in the locker room just to go back into the main play room. With the cost of admission being what it is maybe management could splurge and hire a few more security guards to screen the back play areas. Trap is a great club but the upper level could do a lot better supporting their staff.

Im not gonna lie im actually thinking of moving next door to Trapeze.

Looking forward to moving back to south Florida, we always have a great time at the Trap. As others have said, forget the Velvet, Mrs. Euro is Latina and finds the Velvet to be boring. One complaint, the DJ at the Trap. Music sucks most of the time, a few tunes to allow for slow dancing would really help get couples "together". Otherwise, hard to hear a conversation.

Since we got to Miami 3 years ago all we did was Club Velvet.. People at Velvet are very clicky and nobody speak English especially if you are Caucasian they isolated you and give you dirty looks especially these Latin women.. So we decided after 3 years to go to Trapeze in Ft Lauderdale... We were stunning by the people, atmosphere, food and the facility!! Night and day, people friendly smiles at you what a different between these 2 clubs.. We made friends right away... Please DONT bother with Velvet you'll have fun and feel welcome at Trap even after the first time we decided to erased our profile on Miami Velvet site!!! A++++++++++++

He doesn't care if we dance or not. He never looks at the dance floor if it is full or empty. Plays the same music all night long. We ask him to play Latin music/salsa and he reply with bad attitude "what is that?". How can a Dj ask that question? He knows his job or not?. He has to understand that the club has a lot of latin members. He should mix the music nice and make the members happy. I notice that this comment is not the first one. Come on Trapeze's administration take care of your members. Maybe. It's because he is charging very cheap or he has shares in Trapeze? The club has many members and the playroom is getting to small. Should think about expanding since every day there are more swingers. This is only a one more suggestion from two of your members.

Last night was my second time at Trapeze and I have to say, this is a pretty nice club. The people are nice, the food is great, and the music gets the juices flowing. Then you go in the back and there's so much room to play and plenty of people to play with...plus there are lockers and a shower to clean up. I will be back!! My new favorite spot :)

Visited this club on our trip to Florida, and we need to say it is amazing. Very well organised, gorgeous food, dinner+breakfast, super gentle waiter and waitresses. We will be back for sure.

This DJ doesn't have a clue about club music and never even looks at the dance floor to see if people are dancing. The same goes for management as they never look to see what's going on. HELLO get the crowd dancing with sexy music so everyone gets in the mood. Yes it's a sex club but people like to meet before going in the back and music is the way. Get a decent DJ Or just play pandora as it would be a major improvement.

While Trap is without question the best club the DJ is clueless on playing dance music or even bothering to look at the dance floor to see if anyone is dancing. The same is true on management they could care less if customers are dancing. Hire a real DJ to play sexy music and get the crowd going...its not that difficult!!!

Great place, clean, good music and excelent place for enjoy sex

Although still a nice well ran club Trap Ft Lauderdale isn't as nice a facility as Atlanta. It appears they also have a different clientele as well. The Laauderdale club gives you the feel of a Country Club... While Atlanta is a more Dance Club atmosphere. The single guys at Lauderdale are more than likely going to be older white guys in tommy Bahamas shirts while Atlanta offers younger urban Guys. We also encountered a staff in a Lauderdale that need to work on their people skills and a parking attendant who main goal is Tips & money.

Outstanding service-oriented employees make Trapeze the worldwide destination and class act that it is. We recently went Friday Saturday and Sunday, 3 nights in a row. Ian the Aussie's perfect music and creative/clever song transitions keep the mood hot. Bartenders Melodie and Vanessa and locker lady Pera (hot!) are all super friendly nice and just plan fun. Chef Maurice's fare is as good as in any gourmet restaurant. We had a blast.

I have been there twice now and quite honestly I found it to be very clickish. The food was the besst I have ever had in a club however a bit salty. People were rude in the play room I was waiting on my friend to get back from the mens room and was rudely talked to and a couple took over the area we were playing in. I can't say that for the price and the atmosphere I am likely to go back

Went to the club on Sat.26th of October,2013. Met some friends there,we have not seen in a longtime. The DJ was very good. The music was great.The buffet was excellent. Even though the place was very crowded,it looked like there was plenty of room on the dance floor. We had a fantastic time on the dance floor, and in the back. We had a very good time and we FeelGood about it. Will come back again in November . Can not wait.

Really wish you could find a dj that actually cared what people wanted to listen to rather than watch the heat game. Honestly, I love this club, but the lack of imagination or creativity is beyond poor. Why even have a dj- most of the time they just hit play on the computer which plays the same songs night after night. Friday night I literally heard every single Pit Bull song in a block. I could bring in my ipod and play a better mix...

We wanted to congratulate the DJ for the best music we have heard in any club bar none. Amazing job. Food was also amazing which is not something you say often in a swinger club. Demographics were not to our taste but it was a club takeover from West Florida so that might be to blame.

Went last night for first visit. Very impressed with upscale crowd. Worth the drive from Miami. Will definitely be back.

We have been to several clubs but this one is the best! We were there during Halloween and had a blast! Fantastic staff, good food, great people, fantastic music and super clean. We have never not had a great time. It should be the gold stand for all the clubs. Best club in Fort Lauderdale regardless if you swing or not!

I absolutely love this club and to be honest, I have never wanted to try anywhere else. The staff are awsome and the girls always have a great time. I can not seem to visit Ft. Lauderdale and not end up spending at least one night there. The SDC nights always seem to be the best. Last time I was there in March, the music was certainly good enough to make my butt shake.

Longtime member of Trap here. Usually a great time and great people. However for the past year I have noticed a disturbing trend amongst the men. I am surprised at what men are wearing and what management allows them to walk into the clun with their "dress to impress" policy. Women are wearing dresses and looking sexy and the men are starting to look like slobs! T-shirts should not be allowed- no matter how "expensive" Little Allen thinks they are. It is tacky and should not be allowed! This past Saturday I saw one guy in a wife beater- really!?! Even Velvet (which I don't care for) has a stricter policy. Please change this!!

We visited the club twice on Saturdays in October and quite frankly the DJ still sucks!!! There used to be a great DJ there in early 2011 he did his job of playing the right music, and keeping the dance floor packed. Now from 10:00 to 12:00 "ghosttown" "Trap" we are goingto be there tonight hope youhave fixed this by now.

Dancing is where it is at for the girls. Not Hip Hop or Rap.... or other non sensical noise. How about some good old 80 disco and other later really good dance music. The people with the money are usually a little older and hotter than younger girls that don't know what to do with it nor deserve it and the hott older 40-50 generation deserve the good stuff. Geez what a waste. Someone must have something on someone. Even i could do a better job. Mike

the dj is terriable he plays the same songs over and over and the dance floor is empty dosen't he realize nobody is dancing . They need to mix up the music not just 90's but 80's the crowd is called for it.

This is the best club in Florida in so many ways. But the DJ, who ha been there since the Trap was in its old location, is, well somewhere between mediocre and horrible. As a couple, if we meet another couple, loud pathetic music just does not work. How about some slow music where bodies can get closer? People can touch, the whispers, the kisses. Have never understood why at a swingers club, only loud music would be played during the early hours. The only other problem, during our last visit, September 2010, we took the "dress elegantly" request seriously. 80% of the other couples did not. Really a turn-off. Better music, adhearing to a Satruday night dress code, this place would be the best anywhere. But at this moment, may or may not return because of the above.

Dance floor empty from 10:00-12:00---he just does not get it-- Management, your DJ , his JOB, is to fill dance floor--not experiment with his agenda---rap--Gregorian chants--come on---

Why does the DJ not seem concerned that the dance floor is empty--at most 6 couples dancing. Between 10:00 pm--12:00 pm--he played "rap", some Gregorian chant---and sat in his booth--headphones on--watching some sports event--when his job is to get people on dance floor. The management should see that the DJ is not getting the job done. Why play "rap", no one dancing, when he does play dance music--GAGA, Rhianna, CeeLo Green-etc., the top songs on ALL radio stations, it is at 1:30 am---- Please, get rid of your "agenda:, and play what fills dance floor!!! We love Trap--go 3 times a week--Ian just DOES NOT GET IT!!

Love everything about club----but D.J.----why do they not get it ,when the dance floor is empty---at 11:00 pm.?/ He stands there just in his own world!!!There are certain songs that get people up---not usually rap. The D.J. on Sunday----FANTASTIC----have him lay down the music for Fri--Sat--the other just has to hit buttons. Still go 4 nites a week----just should have floor full of people ----or at least mix it up.

From the first moment I walked through those doors, I never looked back. It always amazes me of how the club seems to entice all cultures and the melting pot of LS choices in one room and mange to have a little bit of everything for everyone that special night. The staff is always impeccably super nice and I never have to worry about not having a good time. They are to me the best of the best and I would always tell my friends and those who are interested, what this wonderful establishment can do for them. Keep up the good work!

If they would find a new DJ, minimize the smoking areas, this could be the best club in the free world. Loud fast music is not condusive to flirtation, so te DJ is really bad. The dress code does not seem to be enforced, which was a real turn off. Not many really attractive couples. Great buffet, clean sheets, great facilities. Can not give it a 7-10 rating because of the above issues. But, would go back when in the area.

When I was single I loved this club. and as a married man me and the wife love this club. For the person that post the night for single men was on a Saturday you are wrong it's Wed-Fri only for single men. We will be on vacation soon and we will be in the Trap almost every night having fun. It's the best club in FL for both singles and couples.

Having been to the Trap many times all we can say is that we love it! Is it perfect? No, but it is as good as it gets. Good food, hot people (of all colors), great service. As for music, like any club sometimes it's good, sometimes not so good. But you can have fun no matter what. The reason we go is for the back room and we always have a wild time. For those guys complaining about single guys dogging their wife DON'T GO ON NIGHTS THAT ALLOW SINGLE MEN! Like a Saturday night......

We have been to several clubs here and elsewhere. Reading the reviews I set expectations low but was very pleasantly surprised. Went on a Saturday, it was in a safe part of town and had free valet parking. The staff got us registered and we entered a nice new large dance/bar area. Lots of food (who cares) and loved the music (club-dance-hiphop). After a while we hooked up with a fun couple from the NE. Not thrilled with the bright lights in the back though. Going again tonight, Friday, will see if the guys like the taste of my sweetie. RECOMMENDED

Trap is great. Clearly our favorite place (Chrissy loves it, because you know there WILL be people there, there WILL be dancing pretty early on, the food will be fair to very good, the breakfast will be great after hours of hard work (:)), and the "back room" is at least entertaining...) We have been there on a couple Friday night, and yes, she attracted single guys like fly paper, but they did not stick too hard :) No impolite stuff, from guys of all colors (and the way she dresses and dances, who can blame the poor guys??? I can't...). Saturdays are great, very predictable atmosphere, with occasional fun "theme" nights. Music is pretty good, with a lot of "pop" stuff, and the occasional latino and ghetto (hopefully kept to a minimum) stuff. The bathrooms are limited, and the absence of one for the guys "in the back" is a pain in the butt. Still, great value overall.

My wife and I have been to the new Trap a couple of times and it is far better than any of the other swinger clubs in South Florida. The layout (plenty of room), the crowd, the food, the staff, the atmosphere, all are top notch. The ONLY complaint between the old Trap and the new Trap is the dance floor. Although now larger, it only has two entrances whereas the old Trap was wide open), and also needs more mirrors. Watching yourself and other couples dance and get frisky, is a major turn on and sets the mood. Need more mirrors on the floor. A&N

The Dance music is not Ghetto but very few people dance there to it. The same music puts people on the dance floor in a DANCE club. The crowd is sometimes not into the newer music; so, DJ change it if no one on the dance floor. The food is the best. The omlettes after midnight help make my wife's night complete. I have seen to many single guys creeping into couples area but have seen management enforce it. No problems with aggressive single men; why can't your lady ask them to taste one of their drinks then rebuff them later?

First, until February 2011 we had not been to the TRAPEZE in well over a year (we moved to the west coast). A lot of reviews here are knocking the music - we didn't have any problems there. HOWEVER - the SINGLE MEN hitting on my wife EVERY TIME I was more than 8" from her was a bit much. It wasn't just one or two problem children - there were a lot - most were less than polite, and it happened all night long. Bummer - used to love the place. Will we go back? ... Probably, but when we lived in Ft L we went several times a month - we wouldn't do that now. I mentioned the problem to a "bouncer" at the back room - he shrugged his shoulders, but didn't offer up anything else. So... from our own experience from one evening and from quite a few of the other recent posts - it looks like this is indeed an issue. Unfortunately, it appears to be one that the management seems unwilling to address. SnJ

Okay, we stopped going a year or so ago because of the music not matching the crowd on Saturday nights. We had previously given up going on any night except Saturdays because the single guys were getting too aggressive and disrespectful. While some of you may disagree, this is our story and, thus, it really doesn't matter to us if you agree or not. Anyways, we decided to give it a chance a couple of weekends ago and went back on a Saturday night. Now, we can't vouche for any other night, but that Saturday night was a very welcome change from a couple of repeat experiences a year or so ago. There was a new DJ who actually played a mix of older and newer dance tunes that the majority of the crowd could actually dance to. There was some Latin music, which is fun in small doses, and some older Rap, which again, is fun in small doses. There was some House music and just a good mix that resulted in large participation. The food was as good, if not better, than any previous visit. And the bar staff was hustling. It was a great night. We are happy to say we are going back this Saturday to try it again. We are hoping that these positive changes will repeat. Wish us luck!

People do we go to the Trap for the music? Hell, no we all go to have fun and that's what it is all about having fun.Try being us as a mixed couple going up into a swingers club in FL. We have some couple look at us like we are crazy as hell.We fine the Trap to a great club unlike most swingers clubs in FL. In other clubs like the V Club they look at us as if we are hood rats breaking news not all black people come form the hood,or live in the hood okay. When my sexy black ass walks up in Trap with my sexy ass white European wife we turn heads all the time. Yes, even the heads of all you racists couples and men. We always feel at home at the Trap because that's the way they make us feel like we are at home. That stuff about the music and people are not coming to the club anymore becaue of it that's crazy. The DJ plays all different kinds of music. To all of you that's talking about it's the ghetto music lets just be real okay. It's not the music you are really talking about it's the black couples and single men. But we will have you know their are more single white men at the club than black. And I will let you know this for a fact most of the pushy men there are the white guys. We get more respect from the single black men at the club. Everytime we have tols a black male we are not interested he would go away with no problem. Now with the white males they would not leave and if they did they was back in seconds just after you have told them to go away. We really like Trap and we will keep going there not for the,but for the great open minded couples that go to the Trap. As I stated before the next time you are in the Trap just look around and tell me how many black couples or single black men do you see there compared to single white men okay. For all you racists peope lplease stop going to the club it's a better place without you there. Now as for the food it's outstanding you can get it any better at any other club. Staff you are doing a great job keep it up okay. Now for you people that says the staff is not doing their job lets see you try and keep up with all the have to do like try and run down every single man in the club to keep them off the club side and take care of all their other duties. Here we go single men I did beat up on you, but it is what it is a lot of you are very damn disrespectful. But at times so are we as couples are being disrespectful to you, because we do come over to the singles side and take the rooms set aside for you to have fun with couples or single ladies. Do we think about this or care when we are doing this hell no. The club is for everyone to enjoy of all races no matter what the color of your skin or where ou are from so lets all just enjoy the club and have some fun and make new friends each and every time we go to the Trap.

We made a trip down to FL this last weekend pretty much for the sole purpose of checking out Trapeze(ok we did want to catch up with some friends as well). We had an amazing time! Everything has been thought of here and every detail covered. A few things to mention: The staff were truly awesome, every one of them were very friendly and professional. The food was excellent and top quality. Contrary to previous post the music was spot on for club music, it was in no way "ghetto" but is what is currently on the radio and vanilla clubs. We did go on Friday as well as Saturday, our observations were that the average age was higher on Friday compared to Saturday but in no way impacted the fun to be had. As far as single guys go, yes there are a lot of them I don't think they impacted the night club atmosphere much. They were pretty harmless. If you're there specifically to end up in the back then yes the "towel sharks" may bother you. I went in the back naked sans towel alone (apparently everyone else wheres a towel when walking around, who knew) looking for my husband and girlfriend. I was approached by several men who easily took no for an answer and followed around by a few more but never felt threatened or uncomfortable. They do tend to stare and watch a bit too much I will agree. If you are looking for a place just to dance, dress sexy and hang with like minded people I doubt single guy nights will bother you much. I am new to the scene and made my first visit to Trapeze in September of this year. I am imagining from the previous reviews there may be a possibility that I may at some point experience these issues. At this time, I must say I've enjoyed Trapeze more so on the Saturdays than the Sundays. I've noticed quite a few single women/men roaming the floors but the club is open to that and encourages that as part of the lifestyle. Not just Trap but other swinger clubs including MV. Harrasing is by no far acceptable in any situation and continues to happen everywhere, be it swingers club or just your regular nightclub. I am here to enjoy, have fun and meet lots of FUNNNN people! I think the food could be better as the menu online is a bit misleading.

We don't go anymore except saturdays because of the agressive single guys. The bouncers and management are doing nothing about it. Guess the old saying is true, money talks. The club could still be profitable if they eliminated single guys every night, it would get more couples in.

Yeah, we stopped going last June. A bunch of single guys followed my wife into the shower and were trying to man handle her. She screamed and I walked in and they walked out like nothing happened. Also, the bouncer doesn't do anything about them walking into the couples side. The music did suck also. We get giving it a chance, after chance, after chance, since it was a new club and all. But, we are through with it. We have been taking mini weekend vacations to Lutz Florida and enjoying it much more. Great new club, it's just too damn bad they don't give a rat's ass about their steady customers. Maybe the owners and management want it to go in a different direction?

It's "Diamond" not "Diomond" you rocket scientist. Music can set the mood and a steady stream of one genre will destroy the mood. Who needs a freaking DJ anyway. Get an iPod and program a mix. Motown will always get you laid but some more recent stuff works too. As for Thug Night that's what's going to drive us away. I have to escort my wife to the restroom because she constantly being hit on by the single guys. Their reasoning is if she's there at Trap she just going to fall on her back and spread her legs for these idiots. Singles get in her grill and just expect her to do them on her way to the shitter. Can someone please define "ghetto music"? The music at Trapeze is far from "ghetto". The DJ has to play music to please everyone, and he plays a good mix. Trapeze is an awesome club! Sure, no club is perfect and Trapeze has it's flaws just like anywhere else, but overall this club can't be beat. Come early for dinner and have a great night all around. Great food, friendly staff, sexy people, and an erotic atmosphere is what Trapeze is all about!

Does not matter what you say the management will not listen we have been members for 10 years, and have mentioned a few ideas which would be quick fixes but management does not care so we quit trying now we just go a few times a year instes of a few times a month and keep our mouths shut to bad

The food is top notch. Unique and healthy dishes, fresh and great taste. Along with your decadent deserts. The music is usually excellent. The atmosphere is hot and their are people of all sizes and ages. I've had the best times of my life there.

The DJ sucks; plays like 80% ghetto crap. Too many people smoking, they need to get rid of the stanky smoke. The back rooms have condoms on the floor from inconsiderate people just throwing them anywhere. WEAR SANDALS!! No restrooms for men in the playroom area so men have to walk thru the bar in a towel to use the pisser. The price is way too expensive for what you get there, but I guess it keeps the ghetto poser-people outta there. Crowd was decent looking, not too cliquey or anything. Food was suspect with weird looking dudes hanging around the buffet all to often. Get rid of the feed trough and lower the price. Nothings less attractive than ghetto people trying to get their money's worth by stuffing roast beef down the pipe and then hitting the playrooms with gravy stains on their chin and moomoo.

We have been to many clubs around the country AND Trapeze is still, the gold standard!! Well run, great atmosphere, music and food are outstanding, clean, classy, long time staff members speak volumes about the stability of the club.

We have been going to the Trapeze night club for over a year now pretty much every Saturday.We would like to address a few complaints for anyone that may think the trap is not for them. 1. In refernce to the music, The DJ usally plays up to date hip hop,pop,latin and rock. All very good dancing and sexual music 2. The Food is 4 star, its worth going just for dinner. 3. Everyone that works there does their best to keep the club running smooth and clean. 4. The age group of the club is constantly changing it can one night be 30-50 year olds and the next night 21-40 year olds. I would say there is a little bit of something for everyone. The ghetto music, i.e., music that ghetto teens love, hip-hop, rap, etc., that comprises 95% of the music played at Trap has driven us away. We used to go to Trap several times per month, but now we've stopped going altogether. We are NOT opposed to the dj playing SOME ghetto music, but there needs to be a much better mix of music. We did complain about the ghetto music, but our complaints fell on deaf ears. If not for the huge percentage of ghetto music played, Trap would be a great club.

Have been going to the club for a few years. Just attended two weekend nights and crowd is getting younger and younger. If your over forty or look like it watch out. On both nights i would swear that 70%+ are in the thirtys. Just wonderign whether this si a summer thing or if the more mature clients have moved on...would like to join them. I do understand that the club may not be able to control the age of members but boy is it looking younger all the time.

We usually are at Trapeze on Saturday nights. The DJ does a great job keeping the floor packed with dancers. Yet we're reading these small complaints about the music. There is no perfect place that plays only your records. What is ghetto music? Define it for us. Is it music you can't seem to dance to? Is it rap, country rap? I had the pleasure of going to OZ on saturday night and I was pleasantly surprised. Although when you pull up it looks just like any other house in the middle of nowhere, once you enter you know you are not in Kansas anymore. It is a clean, efficient, upscale party environment which caters to all of us looking for a good and friendly time.Not your typical run down thrown together house party. Nice, good looking people who seem to go there to meet other people just like them who want the fun without the drama. With all of the big swing clubs out there charging and arm and a leg, this is a breathe of fresh air. I would recommend it to both veterans and rookies of the lifestyle. You will not be disappointed. Alot of thought and work has went into the house's decor. It also has a swimming pool and jacuzzi to cool off after a hot night.

I have been to both the old and new Trapeze on many occasions. For some reason on this past Friday evening I paid more attention to the detail rather than just the "tail". The first thing that caught my attention being a guy was, "what is the deal with no mens room in the back". If I have to use the bathroom and I am already in the back, the last thing I want to do is have to navigate my way the front througha crowd in my towel or less. The next thing was the DJ and music. Although the song selection was not bad, the dance floor is what starts getting people heated up. For a majority of the night I could count on one hand the number of people on the dance floor. The DJ needs to fix that. Next, because Trapeze is the King of swings clubs it seems as if that title has caused some complacency. What I mean by that is, in the club world if you are not constantly improving your are moving in the wrong direction. Any kind of night club should be more than just a place for people to gather. On a more positive note, I guess it was an SDC party(and the reason I say guess is that the DJ never announced it even once) and although I cannot remember the name of the pretty readhead promoting the SDC party, she was a breath of fresh air. Constantly on the move, making sure everyone was having fun, getting names and introducing herself. More importantly doing a job that I was quite envious of, putting pasties on all the girls nipples. In conclusion, I always have a good time when I go to Trapeze, who wouldn't sex,booze and did I mention sex! but there are definitely areas that need improvement!!!!!!!!!

My wife and I recently traveled from NY to Miami and decided to spend a night at Trapeze. We were not sure what to expect but........WOW! We had the most wonderful time with an outstanding group of friendly people. The food was good and the bartenders were friendly and always quick to make a drink. The club is very clean and the clientele upscale. There were a lot of attractive, sexy people of all ages. When they found out we were new to the club, they took us under their wings and made us feel at home. The back room is an almost surreal erotic world. It was clean and full of sexy people enjoying themselves and one another. Everyone was respectful and friendly. All in all, it was even better than we could have imagined! We are now planning another trip in May.

Phil has been a member since the very beginning with his former wife Andi, and continues as a member with his current wife Kim. As a world traveled couple we are often asked "How does this club stack up' In all honesty we would have to say its the second best club we have been to in the world, topped only by FUN4TWO in Amsterdam, Holland. Sure it has its faults as does the local gas station where ever you are in the world. For us the Music early in the evening is always " wrong" and as many people here have said the management ( Little Al) need to talk to the DJ who often just plays music for the sake of playing music.. He is often on his computer or off with the fairies and doesn't play to the room or the occupants. He needs to be more aware of the room ! We love to dance and will dance to most things but when your the only people on the dance floor for an hour it becomes boring.. And yes there is TOO MUCH Ghetto music early on.. Other than that its a great club. The hot tubs in the old club didn't work, caused issues and were got rid of... so its proven not to be a good thing in the club. Its clean, the staff are wonderful, the management are superb and in general it has to be a 10 despite the music issue. Being a long term member we see the cliques but choose to know the people, be friendly with them without being drawn into the circle. ( some of the groups are our best swinger friends). Wow, we went there Saturday night and the TRAP was filled with hot couples, non-pushy and very friendly. Maybe the previous poster should look for someplace more "LOW-END" such as that place on Hillsboro Blvd or the other place in Hollywood Florida. After all, we believe there is something for everybody in the lifestyle whether you are overweight, height challenged, or length suffering. You probably did not have a very fun time at the Trap for one of many reasons, but you have our sympathy. However, you can check out the other places where people like yourselves can go, they are on this list. CIAO!

My girl and I were initially intimidated by the swinger club scene,but decided to give it a try first,and have an opinion on our own though.We went to Trapeze and the only thing we regret is for not having been there before ! I have been going to the Trapeze sporadically for a good 10 yrs. More often than not I have a good time. As long as your courteous, up front, and take rejection respectfully you should have no problem relating to someone. I myself am a 39 y/o SWM average looks and lengths. I am in pretty good shape though. The club would be a [TEN] with a hot tub!!!!!!!!

Certainly there is such a thing as Ghetto Music and the last comment was done very well. We go to a LOT of clubs and usually management figures it out. Once they adjust the type of music to the time and crowd it will be perfect.

Trapeze is the club by which all others should be judged. It's clean, well-run, the staff is friendly and attractive and the food is 3-4 star quality and getting even better. The new club is nicely done except for a continued shortage of bathrooms which makes the above clean comment a bit dubious by late in the evening. The clientele is both attractive and friendly making a bad time there next to impossible. The sound system is terrific but we do take exception to the comment below, there IS such a thing as ghetto music and the DJ plays way too much of it particularly early in the evening. That is our only complaint ever about our nights at Trapeze. The DJ plays what suits him without regard for the crowd or the demographics. The dance floor is often empty from 9-10:30 because the guy is playing urban/techno stuff to an audience composed primarily of white couples in their 30's 40's and even 50's. The 20-something crowd doesn't to show up until after 11:00 but the DJ plays their music to an empty floor for hours. If management would address that, we'd call the place a perfect 10.

We have been going to the Trap for close to ? 5-6 years, the old club was great; we had a lot of late night adult fun there, and have met a lot of really nice couples. The new club is big, with a lot more seating areas than the old club. They did a lot of great up-grades. However some parts of the club became to square, and lost some of its sex appeal. We only went one night, and the lighting (in some parts of the Club, believe it or not) was too bright. Couples we knew from the old club looked a lot better in a darker club. The back room is huge, and has some really cool features, including a lot of seating areas, plenty of places to play, with lots of room. Parts of the back were once again too bright for our taste. The Back Room Bar is long and straight is not as much fun as the old back room bar. The old back room bar was a blast, you could hang out while having a drink or having sex, while watching others. They could have made that bar smaller with more of a gathering area, to meet up with others, more of an intermit setting; (it is after all the Back Room). Otherwise, the place is the best we have ever been to, excluding the Old Trap. K&B

We have been to trap in Ft Lauderdale and recently to ATL. We love it...the music caters to everyone..so for the blog about ghetto music...lets not be racial. Music is for everyone black,white, hispanic ect...just because urban music gets played, does that make the club less appealing. And we all call ourselves open minded.hmmmmmm. We are members for over six years and the new club is second to none. The club is classy, very upscale with a south beach lounge flair. We've been in clubs all over the USA and this is by far the best on premise club we've ever been in. We highly recommend you visit the new club and see for yourself.

We ventured off back to trap after 3 years of not going due to the club being over crowded. All we can say is OMG.. This club is what all clubs should be based on. The food is second to none. The DJ Play's good music and really heats it up after the 11 oclock hr. The staff is very nice and we actually had a conversation with the girl who serves the food.. Very nice person working for Trap as is all the staff. We have known little Allen for years and when he saw us at the club he was in total shock. He said WOW look who it is.. :) We want to thank the management for making a new club very much to our like. We will be frequent at the club from not on but mostly during the week. We were one of the very 1st members of Trap back in the 90's. The newest club opened last weekend and is fantastic. We have been to clubs all over the country and it is the best we have seen yet. They have done a great job of taking care of everyone's needs - It is a great place to meet and make new friends and visit with you old friends.

Trapeze is a GREAT club! However, they play way too much hip hop, rap, i.e, ghetto music, which ruins the mood, and the music doesn't fit the demographic of an upscale crowd.

I always prefer Trapeze for a swing club. It is the best in the area and it's where I go when SDC has an event there! My Ex and I loved it there and I'm sure my next girl will too.

is the best thing they could have done. Talk about spacious and inviting. The dance floor is in the middle of the room and when you're in the glass room, you still feel like you are part of the club. Nothing about it is secluded (except the private rooms of course). The decor is very sexy and intimate; and the crowd rocks!

We have had great times there and can't wait to see the "New Trap". We only go on cpls nights as we have had some rather creepy experiences when single guys are allowed. The staff is attentive and courteous and the food is great! Always a great crowd. Great place for anyone from meek and mild to wet and wild! No pressure environment...very cool place. I give it a 9 only because of what the outside looks like!

Been going to Trapeze for a couple of years now. By far the nicest club that we have ever been to. . .and we have tried every club in this area (FL), NYC, New Orleans, New Jersey. . . The people are very friendly, upscale, great looking. The staff is soooo courteous and helpful. The club has good food, great music, sexy atmosphere and it is really easy to have a great time. The girls really dress up and are very very sexy. Many people tell me that Trapeze is "legendary" where they come from. If you don't like Trap - then you would not like any club because this it is as good as it gets!! I highly recommend Trapeze and feel we are lucky to have such a club in our area. Over the last few months we have checked out "all" the Lifestyle clubs in the Ft Lauderdale area. Trap is the best by far...... upscale, clean, best looking crowd etc. Its in a better section of town than the others and a good hotel is across the street so you can avoid the drink & drive. Sat night has the best energy, but all nights are fun (Thur is the slowest)...... Enjoy

Our very first club experience! We went on a Wednesday night which turned out to be a great night to go (too many more folks than the 200 or so that were there would have taken it from intimate to crowded). The place had great food, music gracious hosts, and a friendly staff. Met great looking fun couples, and a few singles (and don't let those singles scare you off -- all we met were very polite, and took "No" with grace). Folks came from all over (we're from out of state and had fun with a great couple from California). The best part about the night was how amazingly comfortable we felt, even being complete newbies. Good time!

It seemed as if everyone sent out a call to each other to meet at Trapeze this past weekend. The Friday night SwingersDateClub.com party created a new all time record for our club for that night. What a sensational night it was, as great looking couples and singles kept pouring into the club all night long. It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces as well as so many new young and hot looking people that came out to party. People we havent seen for a while were also on hand, no doubt, you cant stay away to long and miss all of the action & excitement Trapeze has to offer. Truly, this weekend gave the crowds a taste of why Trapeze is so popular. The spectacular weekend party continued in the very same fashion both Saturday and Sunday nights once again reiterating That the weekends do belong to Trapeze.

we love it we think it is the best place in florida we visited alot of them in fla and trapezze is the best,we like the dress code not like other that say uper classy but most of the the couples dressed with jeanes

Trapeze is verry classy. It's clean , comfortabe and fun. The atmosphere is upscaled and the people are also. You couldn't find a restaurnt with better service or better food. The backroom excitement is beyond compare. Did I remember to say it is very clean?

This is the epitomy of lifestyle clubs anywhere. Service, food(!), music, dance floor, and private areas. Sure, Plato's is making a come back, but the Trap has Wednesday and Sunday nights that no one can match. Friday's can be fun, too. Our only complaint is that the facility is a little small, so Saturday nights, or special holidays can be way too crowded, hard to dance, back areas fill up fast, and really smoky. Check out the parking lot, you do not see this level of fancy autos at any other club. And the dress of those in the club is the sexiet and most glamorous. buggatti42

By far the best lifestyle club in the area. Great food, dancefloor, and hot tubs! The people are all cool...no pressure, just FUN! The ratio of posers to true swingers is the lowest of any club in the area...in other words..these people come to PLAY!This is the place to let loose and be the kinky, sexual person you've always wanted to be. The Ft. Lauderdale Trapeze is a fun,sexy and exciting place to dive into the lifestyle or watch the almost certain stage shows that will be performed by many of the beautiful girls and sexy men that happen this chic location frequently. With a safe and ever watchful eye over things the staff of the Trapeze, Ft. Lauderdale, make your every whim and concern disappear. As far as the usual suspects in the crowd, well, it goes without saying that given it's location, visitors are sure to find a top shelf, all you can eat affair to rival any other club. We rate this club a ten....and they on occasion give away some really sexy t-shirts. Wednesday nights have always been a great night for us. Give this club a look see, you will want to return for sure.

We love this place...it is sexy...fun and the atmosphere is absolutly great. They serve very fine food and it gives it an overall very satisfying expierience to be there. We have been there on many occasions and will doing so more. Little Allan is a great host and will always make sure that you and your partner are served best way as possible. For people visiting us in South Florida this is a must go .....and make sure you are having fun !!

We were here Saturday February 7, 2004 and had a great time. The staff go out of there way to get your drinks quickly and they were super friendly. The place is spotless and fellow club members were friendly and polite. Age ranged form 20's to 60. Most were 30 to 40 something. It's located in a little strip mall that is a little run down but don't let that chase you away. The valet parking is great and free. I was so comfortable I did a little strip dance for my husband and the crowd....LOL. I've never done that before so you can tell I felt very safe and comfortable there. We only wish we lived in Florida so we were closer. I highly recommend Trapeze if you're a veteran or new like we are. Have fun!
